About us
Company's history of more than 60 years
ZOELLER-KIPPER was founded in 1947 as a partnership, and in 1959, the company became a limited liability company. Through constant technical innovation, ZÖLLER-KIPPER GmbH has developed from a small family business into Europe's largest producer of hydraulic lifting and tipping devices, or ‘lifter systems’. Through strategic alliances and branch plants in the Czech Republic and Poland, the Lifter Systems product range has been extended to include complete refuse collection vehicles. Now we can offer one-source solutions to our customers.
ZOELLER-KIPPER expertise has been recognised since 1970 by representation on the Standards Committee for Waste Containers and their interface with Lifter Systems. Our extensive model range includes more than 200 different systems, with the emptying range including container sizes from 25 litres to 10 cubic meters.
As competent and reliable partner in the disposal business, we naturally offer an international service net with more than 900 employees European-wide providing service to our customers.
Environmental management system
For several years, we have not only been certified for our quality, but also for the way we apply our environmental management system. One of the main principles of our company policy includes responsibility for our environment. With the continuous improvement of products, systems, procedures and processes, the economical use of resources is an important objective, which is observed and encouraged in all levels of the organization. Our integrated management system has been certified for years by an external body in accordance with DIN EN ISO 9001 and 14001. Modern manufacturing technology
For our production we put high emphasis on using modern manufacturing technologies such as CNC milling machines and welding robots. A large percentage of the individual parts comes from in-house manufacture to be able to ensure the required quality and flexibility.
Quality assurance
Our system components have been developed on the basis of experiences which we have gathered over many years with the parts' actual use under harsh everyday conditions and therefore they provide maximum reliability and longevity. All parts which are relevant for safety are subject to internal long-time and durability tests.
Product development
In order to obtain technically optimized and reliable solutions the development of individual parts as well as of entire lifter systems is carried out using state of the art 3D CAD technology which permits an analysis of kinematics and stability as well as the optimization of components already during the development period. As a result of this procedure our company has obtained numerous patents.
Ergonomics and efficiency
Our products are equipped with ergonomically located operating controls offering the operative optimum working conditions and efficient working processes. A service interface permits an adaption of our factory presettings to individual customer requirements.
Working safety
Our products are supplied with complex safety systems which fulfill the highest safety demands. The motion cycle of an emptying process is for instance monitored by a central control unit and in case of a malfunction or erroneous operation the motion is stopped immediately. The risk of an accident for the operative is thus reduced to a minimum.
Service
An international service network has been made available for our customers. ZOELLER products have been developed for the harsh conditions in the waste disposal business and are therefore made to be robust and reliable. Our service experts ensure an optimum after sales service for our customers. On request, we also organize training sessions with emphasis on special customer requirements in which we present technical innovations.
