New course in the south
Markus Heid has been at the helm of the ZOELLER South branch in Augsburg since October 1. The 54-year-old brings with him a wealth of experience from the automotive and logistics industries – and even more enthusiasm for people, technology, and movement.
Markus began his professional career in the traditional manner with an apprenticeship as a car mechanic and soon earned his master craftsman’s certificate. He then moved into the world of commercial vehicles, including Daimler, where he worked in various positions for many years. “This time shaped me both professionally and personally,” he says in retrospect.
This was followed by more than ten years in logistics at Schenker before Markus took the plunge and joined ZOELLER. “I am excited to immerse myself in the world of ZOELLER,” he says. “I am fascinated by the diversity of our products and solutions – as well as the contact with our customers in the region.”
With attitude and heart
Anyone who meets Markus quickly realizes that he stands for clear communication and good teamwork. “I look forward to a trusting relationship based on equality,” he emphasizes. He is eagerly anticipating the move to ZOELLER with palpable curiosity.
In his private life, Markus seeks balance in nature, preferably mountain biking, barbecuing with friends, or simply enjoying social gatherings. His motto in life fits perfectly with this open attitude: “Life is too short to dwell on bad things.”
Welcome to the team, Markus!
With Markus Heid, the South branch gains an experienced practitioner with a passion for technology and teamwork—and a person who prefers to tackle challenges rather than talk about them.
We warmly welcome Markus to ZOELLER and wish him a successful start, many good encounters, and lots of fun in his new role in Augsburg.
