The system is lighter, more efficient and independent of the chassis – for more volume, less energy consumption and maximum flexibility in electric collection operations. THE NEXT GENERATION
OF ELECTRIC AUXILIARY DRIVES (E-PTO)
The 40 kW electric motor is integrated into the front of the container. The design of the discharge shield leaves sufficient space for the motor and single/dual-circuit gear hydraulic pump. Unlike in combustion engines, the pump is mounted directly on the motor. An integrated HV discharge circuit safely reduces the system voltage to below 60 volts DC in less than 5 seconds after shutdown.

The EPM can be used independently of body design and chassis, and thanks to its demand-oriented control system it offers best energy efficiency. It enables shorter wheelbases, creating additional space for more battery capacity. In addition, it has OEM approvals and is EMC-certified. Service, spare parts, and diagnostics are all provided from one source.
