GOOD TO KNOW: ALL ABOUT THE Z-CAM

By actively intervening in the emptying process (e.g. preventing start-up, stopping, or slowing down the lifter) when people enter hazardous zones at the rear of the vehicle – for example, due to careless reaching, tripping, or stepping backwards.

Conventional cameras deliver images. Z-CAM analyses the images and automatically detects if there is a danger. It independently decides whether the lifter should be stopped, slowed down, or activated.

In real time – the reaction (e.g. preventing start-up, stopping, slowing down) happens automatically and instantly as soon as a hazard is detected.

Yes, Z-CAM was developed and trained for use in real-life operations – even under changing lighting conditions. Temporary limitations due to obscured visibility (e.g. dirt) can occur, as with any optical system.

Yes. Z-CAM is very easy to retrofit to the Delta series (2301 and 2322). Installation is carried out by ZÖLLER-KIPPER or authorised partners.
